If you have booked an appointment, it can be cancelled through the booking app with at least 24 hours notice. Missed appointments (no shows) will result in a fee of 50% of the missed appointment in order to rebook, payable at the time of rebooking.

No! If lash extensions are applied and maintained properly, no damage is caused. Each extension falls out with the natural lash when its growth cycle is complete and a fresh baby lash grows in its place.

“Foreign fills” (filling lash extensions from other studios) are not accepted at The Lash Garden. Any existing lash extensions can be removed at the current removal fee and a fresh set of extensions will be applied.

Yes, in some rare cases there can be an allergy to an ingredient in lash adhesive, usually cyanoacrylate or carbon black. This reaction can include itching, watery eyes, irritation, redness and swelling in the eyelids. Some clients with very sensitive eyes or skin may be more prone to reactions, sometimes including a mild itching or burning sensation during your lash service. If there is an allergic reaction at your appointment, we remove the lashes immediately in studio. If a reaction develops after your lash appointment, your lashes will be removed in studio as soon as possible. If the reaction continues, seek medical advice. Attempting to remove lashes at home greatly increases the risk of pulling out natural lashes. Let your lash tech know in advance of known allergies or sensitivities to cosmetic products.

A full set of extensions will last anywhere from 4-8 weeks,from start to finish until the last extensions sheds naturally with your lashes. Each individual has a unique lash cycle, but typically extensions will look full for 2-3 weeks before they require a fill, and in a few cases 4 weeks.

Full set appointments are generally 2-3 hours including consultation, lash prep and application. Clients with an abundance of natural lashes, lashes that are very short, or curly lashes may want to plan for extra appointment time depending on the style of lashes chosen. Classic lashes are usually closer to the 2 hour end, while mega volume is on the 3 hour end. This allows time for your lash artist to properly plan out your set, apply it, and take care of your lash health for a personalized and meticulously crafted set to suit every eye! Fill appointments are 1.5 hours or less.

Yes! This is normal and expected. We naturally shed 3-5 lashes per eye, per day, and seeing an extension shed with a natural lash attached means the lash has completed its growth cycle and a new lash has grown in its place.

No! Try every style, change the length, texture, shape, and colour until you love what you have, and then mix it up again! Some drastic changes (ie. long lengths to short, or open eye to cat eye, classic to volume or vice versa) may take a few fills to transition, but change is welcome and endless tweaks can be made.

Absolutely not! Lash extensions can be as natural or dramatic as you please. The Lash Garden specializes in “those could be real” looks but drama is welcome! The Lash Garden does not do “blackout” level mega volume or Russian volume styles.

At least 50% of your extensions should still be in place for your appointment to be a fill. Please inform me ahead of time if you’ve had extra shedding occur or have gone too long between appointments so you can book accordingly. An "extended fill" option is available for a slightly longer fill appointment. Filling more than 50% of your lashes will result in a full set price as this will add time to your appointment. Please book ahead to get your fills in!
